NEW STATE OF THE ART PICKLE HOUSE
Kreher Wire Processing, Inc. developed the new pickle line by using best methods in practice. Input came not only from Kreher Wire's talent pool, but from our customers, pickling experts, and environmental and chemical engineers.

The cleaning house has more room for faster and safer preventive maintenance. An over abundance of lighting was added, that will improve quality not only for our customers' material, but provide a better atmosphere for our employees.

Air circulation in the cleaning house is two times the requirement. The acid tanks not only have air to push the steam to the scrubbers, a second set of scrubbers are also mounted on the sides of the tanks to extract any excess steam that may not be captured by the rear scrubber.

Acid is circulated with state of the art submerged spray nozzles that provide faster cleaning with a higher degree of cleanliness. All tanks and cleaning hooks are longer, allowing the coils to be spread out for better cleaning and coating. Not to mention improved capacity.

Coils that need to be power washed can be cleaned in the coil washing station with a high pressure spray washer. This operation can be completed before the coils even see the acid.

The carrier (crane) is semi-automatic and has the speed and precision of a fully automatic carrier, but with the watchful eyes of an operator.

The waste water treatment facility filters and treats all discharged water to meet or exceed federal, state, and county requirements. After cleaning, the coating capabilities start with two high nickel zinc phosphate tanks. Our customers may choose from three different options of lubrications, polymer, reactive, or lime.
